Sunset Swordtail Fish

The Sunset Swordtail Fish (Xiphophorus hellerii) is a vibrant and popular freshwater aquarium fish, known for its striking coloration and elegant tail fin.

It has a stunning gradient of warm colors, resembling a sunset, with shades of orange, red, and yellow.

The males have a long, sword-like extension on the lower part of their caudal (tail) fin, giving them their name.

Typically grows up to 4-5 inches, with females generally larger than males.

Peaceful and social, they thrive in community tanks.

Active swimmers and prefer plenty of open space.
