Description

Rozy Tetra: In a tranquil community aquarium with other smaller fish, the Rosy Tetra Hyphessobrycon rosaceus is a fun addition.

Similar to the Bleeding Heart Tetra, it has a deep body shape. The body of this pretty little tetra is a deep salmon color with red accents and bright white fin tips.

As a result, it is also known as the White-Finned Rosy Tetra, Rosey Tetra, and Rosy Fin Tetra.

The Rosy Tetra is a happy fish that belongs in the community aquarium. It needs clean water, but it is fairly durable and moderately simple to maintain.

Additionally, it does not respond well to changes in water conditions, so it is best kept by an intermediate fishkeeper.

The pet owners will be rewarded with hours of entertainment, despite the fact that some extra effort is required.

II. You would love the fish because.../em>

The Rosy Tetra is a fish with a deeper body and a shape similar to that of some larger tetras, like the Bleeding Heart Tetra.

In a home aquarium, this fish typically grows to about 1 1/2 inches (4 cm) and has a lifespan of about 3 to 5 years.

With only minor differences, this tetra's coloration and appearance are very similar to those of its close relative, the Ornate Tetra.

Although the Ornate Tetra will frequently appear more transparent, the bodies of both fish range from pink to deep salmon. Fins of both species have dark red markings.

The Rosy Tetra lacks a faint grayish "shoulder patch" that the Ornate Tetra will have.

The term "white tip" refers to the white markings on the dorsal and pelvic fin extensions of the Ornate Tetra.

On its dorsal fin extension, the Rosy Tetra will have a black marking known as a "flag" and occasionally, but not always, white fin tips.

However, there are exceptions to every rule, and even the occasional Ornate will have a black "flag" marking on its dorsal fin.
