Rotala Ceylon - AP439

Rotala Ceylon is a delicate stem aquarium plant characterised by its thin stems and narrow, pointed leaves. In lower light, it maintains a bright to medium green colour, while under stronger lighting and good nutrition, the upper growth can develop warm pinkish to reddish tones, adding depth and contrast to planted tanks.

This plant grows upright and responds very well to regular trimming, becoming bushier with each cut. It is ideal for background placement, Dutch-style layouts, and nature aquascapes where layered plant groups are desired. Supplied as a healthy pot plant, it establishes quickly when planted in nutrient-rich substrate.

Rotala Ceylon adapts well to a range of water parameters and can thrive in both low-tech and high-tech aquariums, though CO₂ and higher light will enhance colour and density.
