Gratiola viscidula - AP230
Description
Gratiola viscidula is a relatively uncommon aquarium plant that adds an interesting texture and structure to aquascapes. Its small, narrow leaves and firm stems give the submerged plant a distinctive spiky appearance, making it stand out among softer-leaved aquarium plants.
With good lighting, the plant grows slowly and branches readily, forming a dense, bushy group. Regular trimming can keep it low and compact, making it suitable for a foreground cushion or carpet-like effect. If allowed to grow taller, it makes an attractive midground accent.
