Bucephalandra Mini SP Round is a beautiful and compact Bucephalandra variety prized for its small, rounded foliage and slow, steady growth. It is an excellent choice for aquascapers looking to add detail and texture to rocks, driftwood and other hardscape.

Like other Bucephalandra varieties, it is an epiphytic plant, meaning it does not need to be planted in substrate. Simply attach the rhizome to driftwood or rocks using aquarium-safe glue or thread and allow the roots to establish naturally. 

Its compact growth makes it particularly attractive in nano tanks, shrimp aquariums and carefully designed planted layouts. It is also a relatively easy plant that can grow under low to moderate lighting without injected CO₂, although CO₂ and suitable fertilisation can encourage faster growth and stronger coloration.

Important Planting Tip

Do not bury the rhizome in the substrate. Covering the rhizome can cause it to rot and the plant may melt. Attach or wedge the plant onto your hardscape while keeping the rhizome exposed
