Bubble eye/ Telescopic Eye Gold Fish
Description
Bubble Eye Goldfish is one of those creatures that make you question how it could exist. It adds a genuinely distinctive element to any aquarium with its unusual appearance and physical characteristics.
China developed this Goldfish in 1908 by carefully breeding many species together. This led to a genetic abnormality that led to the creation of two eye sacs beneath the fish's eyes, which enlarge with age. These eye sacs are initially absent, but three months after the eggs have hatched, they appear. These eye sacs are then filled with a fluid similar to lymph, which causes them to continue to grow until they reach their maximum size in 6–9 months.
You would love the fish because…
Among all fish, bubble-eye goldfish are among the most assuming. If not for their physical limitations, they would blend in with the majority of aquatic animals because they are highly social and gentle.
Overall, the Bubble Eye Goldfish is a really special and endearing fish in its own right.
If you're just starting, it could be a little difficult to maintain.
Get one if you are confident that you can satisfy its demands and wants. It will undoubtedly be the centerpiece of your tank for many years to come.
