Bristlenose Pleco - Albino

The Albino Bristlenose Pleco is a popular freshwater bottom-dwelling fish known for its pale golden-yellow coloration and distinctive bristle-like growths around the head, particularly in mature males.

It is an excellent addition to planted and community aquariums, where it spends much of its time grazing on algae and biofilm from aquarium surfaces, driftwood and décor.

Care

Provide driftwood, caves and other hiding spaces for shelter. Albino Bristlenose Plecos are primarily nocturnal and become particularly active after lights go out.

Supplement natural algae grazing with algae wafers, sinking vegetables and other suitable foods. Good filtration and regular water changes are important for maintaining healthy water conditions.
