Hygrophila\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Lancea Araguaia, also known as\u00a0<\/span>Hygrophila\u00a0<\/span><\/em>Araguaya Sharp Leaf, has an unusual appearance in the planted aquarium tank hobby, with incredibly narrow submerged leaves that have a rich reddish-brown tone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n This plant comes from Brazil, despite the deceptive Brazilian River name “Araguaia.” Instead, it’s most likely a variant of the species Hygrophila Lancea, which originated in Hong Kong.<\/span><\/p>\n This water plant has a creeping growth pattern, leaves that are slightly slanted, and delayed branching. Hygrophila Lancea Araguaia is steadily gaining popularity, although it is still tough to come by, and it has recently become highly sought for by planted aquarium lovers of all skill levels.<\/span><\/p>\n The intermediate aquarium plant Hygrophila “Araguaia” There is no requirement for CO2, however, it is recommended for faster growth.<\/span><\/p>\n In good growing conditions, this plant produces deep reddish\/purplish leaves.
