Sunset Platy:  If you want an easy-to-care-for freshwater fish that communicates well, you can’t go wrong with the Platy fish, also known as the Gold-moon Platy or Sunfish.

Sunset Platy fish are calm, well-tempered fish who like the company of other fish with similar temperaments. What happens if a male and female plate are kept in the same aquarium? When the male hunts and the female reproduces, you notice any differences in their behavior.

They are omnivores that eat a variety of plants and animals, but because they are so little, they only eat small invertebrates.

Their specific diet varies according to where they dwell and what is available. Fish, invertebrates, insects, birds, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles are the most common meals.

Platy can be fed a range of diets, including commercial and homemade fish feed as well as fresh and frozen marine seafood.

Platys are ideal planted tank tropical fish since they are small, quiet, and undemanding. This strain has a short round body (similar to a balloon form) with a vivid red hue.
