Shubunkin Goldfish are one of the most sought-after Goldfish breeds.

The most popular aquarium fish worldwide is the goldfish, one of the few that is well-known to people who are not aquarium hobbyists.

Shubunkin Goldfish is a Common Goldfish type that was developed in captivity (Carassius auratus).

It was created for the first time in Japan in the 1890s by mating a calico-colored Telescope with a Wakin Goldfish.

Their color is what makes them most popular and lovable.

This fish can grow up to 12 inches long when kept outside. It will reach a maximum height of 8 to 10 inches indoors.

The most common colors are blue and red, with the Bristol variant being the most expensive.

The Shubunkin Goldfish with the oldest age was 20. Despite being solely a captive breed, if it was released or escaped from a fish farm, it might be seen in the wild.

In place of Koi, the Shubunkin Goldfish is frequently kept since it is less expensive.
