Rotala Rotundifolia green is commonly called Rotala rotundifolia and Rotala sp. This plant is a resilient and adapts quickly when placed in the aquarium’s midground and background areas. This lovely stem plant hails from Southeast Asia and is just as easy to care for as Rotala rotundifolia.
Rotala rotundifolia “green” is undemanding in terms of fertilizers, carbon dioxide, and substrate composition, although it prefers direct sunlight. It will thrive in low-light environments, with the majority of the leaves remaining vivid green. To avoid stunting the plant, iron and NO₃ should be present. Takashi Amano commonly incorporates this star-like stem plant into his aquariums.
Care Tips
