Repti Glo Light – 13W – Turtle Light Nothing beats a good UVB lamp for keeping your turtle healthy and establishing a comfortable and stable habitat. 

The UVB output of the Exo Terra Repti Glo 5.0 is moderate to high, corresponding to that of gloomy surroundings like rain forests and other tropical locales.

Because of the multiple climatological factors (quite high humidity, changing weather, etc.) that prevent direct sunlight from reaching them or their basking spots, reptiles residing in these habitats absorb less UV radiation.

The size of the Exo Terra Repti Glo Compact Fluorescent Bulb, as well as the fact that it is self-ballasted, are both advantages.

These bulbs can be operated with a standard screw fitting. The bulb’s spiral structure allows it to be mounted vertically or horizontally without sacrificing performance. For best results, a high UVB output (Repti Glo 5.0 and 10.0) should be combined with a very high visible light output (Repti Glo 2.0).
