Moina: One of the best live fish foods for your aquatic fishes and their fries is Moina macrocopa. They can be grown in yeast, organic materials like cow dung, and other things. They have a lot of protein, which helps the fish grow faster.
Moina is suitable for feeding to guppies, bettas, angels, goldfish, almost all freshwater fish, as well as some juvenile and adult fish.
Moina have a maximum length about half that of Daphnia. Adult Moina (700–1,000 m) are approximately two to three times longer than adult rotifers and 500 m longer than newly hatched brine shrimp. Most species of freshwater fish can consume young Moina as their first food when they hatch.
