Golden yellow back shrimps

Golden yellow back shrimps are entertaining to watch, they look fantastic and are very beneficial to the tank. They swiftly reproduce and are quite active.

Golden yellow back shrimps have a vivid neon yellow “racing” stripe runs down its back, a higher grade of Neon Yellow Shrimp. 

The appropriate water conditions allow golden-back yellow shrimp, a reasonably versatile species, to thrive in practically any freshwater aquarium. 

Younger shrimp might not have reached their full potential yet, but as long as they are at ease in the tank, they will develop a bright yellow color.

These shrimp are incredibly busy as they clean up trash by scavenging the aquarium. Particularly in a tank with plants, they adore eating biofilm and algae that are present in nature.

Due to this, they may require very little upkeep and may even aid in keeping your tank clean. They are not a hostile species and can endure a wide range of water conditions, thus making them an excellent choice for tanks.

Yellow shrimps are one of the simpler shrimp species to maintain in an aquarium, yellow shrimp don’t need any particular conditions to thrive. No specialized soil or expensive equipment is required!

These dwarf shrimp can be kept in aquariums that are at least 5 gallons in size, like all other dwarf shrimp, but it’s always a good idea to go for a somewhat larger setup for beginners and anyone concerned about water quality.

Before adding any animals, the aquarium should always be filtered and completely cycled. Any filter ought to be effective, however, bear in mind that young shrimp are quite tiny. To keep them from vanishing into the intake, use a prefilter sponge (or a sponge filter) at all times. Since these shrimp can endure a fairly wide variety of temperatures, a heater is not required.
