Fire Yellow Shrimps are originally from Taiwan.

Fire Yellow Shrimps is a sunny yellow mutation of the Cherry Shrimp.

They add a welcome pop of colour to a planted tank thanks to their striking colouring, which helps them stand out.

Fire Yellow Shrimps, are members of the Neocaridina family, prefer to reside in water with a rather high GH value.

The Yellow King Kong shrimp, which belongs to the Caridina species and favours gentler water, has a similar appearance.

Adults often reach a height of 3 cm (1.2 inches).

Fire Yellow Shrimps have an intensely yellow colour variation known as the Yellow Fire dwarf shrimp (was: heteropoda).

Like the well-known Red Fire Sakura/Cherry shrimp, it is quite easygoing and reproduces quickly. Neocaridina shrimp are naturally found in tiny streams, ponds, flooded grasslands, and reedy habitats close to those waterways in China, Taiwan, and Korea.

Bright yellow to golden-orange is usually the colour of its fundamental body. Sometimes, especially in women, the back line is lighter in colour and clearly defined. As in all Neocaridina, the females have more intense colouring than the males.

The dwarf shrimp known as the Yellow Fire (Neocaridina davidi (was: heteropoda) var. Yellow) is an omnivore that will consume nearly any food, like the majority of freshwater shrimp.

V. How to feed this species?

Shrimp enjoy eating green foods like spinach and nettles, and they can also be fed veggies like kuri squash or zucchini. Shrimp require a particular quantity of protein in addition to a vegetable diet to prevent them from attacking their younger or weaker conspecifics.
