Echinodorus Tanzende Feuerfeder AP068

Echinodorus ‘Tanzende Feuerfeder’ is a special and lovely addition to the aquarium.

It has dark green leaves that are long and somewhat slender. The young leaves are maroon with deeper maroon splotches that eventually turn green.

Sword plant E. ‘Tanzende Feurerfeder’ grows quickly and reaches a big size. This plant has a branching inflorescence and blooms profusely. Large, delicate white blooms cover the inflorescence, and plantlets swiftly develop. E. ‘Tanzende Feuerfeder’ blooms in both submerged and emersed conditions. This aquarium plant also grows quickly and is sturdy in its submerged form.

Care Tips

• These plants are simple to maintain and do not require the infusion of CO2, but they do, like other plants, require a substrate that is rich in nutrients in order to grow. High illumination brings out more colour in the leaves, although they can withstand low to moderate lighting quite fine.
• Most Echinodorus require nutrient-dense soil to thrive as they are heavy root feeders. Echinodorus grow fairly large and are more suitable for larger planted aquariums.
