Crowntail Betta Fish

Crowntail Betta Fish has one of the most striking appearances among all betta fish.

Between the extended rays of its tail and fins, the Crown Tail Betta Fish has very little or no webbing. It appears to be covered in spikes as a result of this it resembles Betta Fish’s punk rocker in its cool, edgy appearance.

Female Crowntail Bettas have a less prominent caudal fin, but both sexes have larger caudal fins than other Betta fish species.

There are a lot of colors and color patterns in crown tail. The majority of Crowntails have bodies that are black or dark brown. Radiant scales feature shades of blue and green.

Blades will show more brilliant tones. Most of the time, they’re blue, but sometimes the tips are red.

Male Crowntail Bettas are more colorful than female Crown tail Bettas, as are most Betta species. During the Crowntail Betta’s lifetime, colors can change in subtle ways, but not as much as in some Betta fish varieties.

Crowntail Betta got its name from its bright tail fin. Their caudal fin often has 8-inch-diameter extensions and is long; that’s three times as big as its body!

The Crowntail’s caudal fin’s significantly reduced webbing between its rays is also impressive. giving the appearance of a crown. The Crowntail’s distinct, spiky fin tips give it a crown-like appearance.

When fully mature, it should reach 2.5 inches, although some varieties can reach 3 inches.

While they appear to be a mirage of vivid colors; Dark blues and reds have emerged as the most prominent hues.

Female crown tails, like other female betta fish, will have smaller bodies and fins and colors that are more muted than those of males.

One of the many varieties of betta fish that have been bred to have a wide range of caudal fin colors is the crowntail betta fish.

III. Is this fish species peaceful or hostile?

Betta Splendens, all the more regularly alluded to as Siamese Fighting Fish or essentially betta fish, are known for their bright shows and animosity towards different individuals from their species.

Corydora or Otoclinus catfish and small non-nippy tetras.

V. How to feed this species?

Feed your betta fish two to four pellets, more than once each day. Pellets grow when put in water and are very filling for your betta fish. Freeze-dried or new food can be filled in for their pellet taking care of 1 to 2 days out of every week.
