The Blue Velvet Damselfish, is also called and the Japanese Damselfish or the Blue Streak Devil.

It flaunts a royal black body with tiny blue stripes and one big white vertical stripe.

These colors change to brown and black as the fish grows. This is a hardy damsel and does extremely well in a 30 gallon tank.

This damsel variety loves live rock for shelter and enough swimming area in the aquarium.
