Anubias Barteri var. Nana ‘Petite’ – MK055

The Anubias Nana ‘Petite’ is one of the most popular Anubias species. This aquatic plant, like other Anubias, is a fantastic choice for beginners because of its ease of maintenance and its overall resilience. Anubias Nana ‘Petite’ features the Anubias hallmark lovely green color and is a fantastic choice for filling in gaps and holes in an aquascape arrangement.

It does not require being planted in aquarium soil to grow effectively due to its nature. This versatility in placement allows Anubias Nana Petite to be used as makeshift leaves on aquarium driftwood or as a lovely green accent in the midground. Anubias Nana ‘Petite’  is low-maintenance and adapts to a wide range of water conditions. It can also survive in both aquariums and terrarium-like environments.

Anubias Nana ‘Petite’  is a flowering plant that grows when its rhizome is fixed to a hardscape material like aquarium wood or stone. Regular fertilizing is beneficial, and low to medium illumination is appropriate because strong lighting promotes algae growth on the leaves. CO₂ isn’t essential, although it does help with faster development and stronger leaves.

Simple rhizomes can be cut or pulled apart and reattached for propagation.
