ADA Moss Bag – Vesicularia montagnei ‘Christmas Moss’ with Magic Moss Cotton
A convenient moss bag with just enough Moss and Moss Cotton for a complete set-up.
It grows in thickets that provide excellent cover for shrimp and fry. It also has growing sites for infusoria and biofilms, which are minuscule live food sources.
Christmas moss leaves get very bushy and resemble little pointy pines once grown in the aquarium.
This is a very low-maintenance plant, however it, like all plants, can benefit from CO₂ supplementation, though it is not required. It develops nicely in a well-kept aquarium with a small amount of supplementary nutrients, as do most mosses.
Ways to use
- Put a thin layer of moss on driftwood and wind using the moss cotton.
- You can do the same on a stone as well.
- Use Terra tapa (sold separately) and tie on driftwood and immerse in water
Care tips
- It requires good water quality and flow.
- The fastest and easiest way to reproduce Christmas moss will be through division.
