Rosy Barb

Add vibrant colour and lively movement to your aquarium with the Rosy Barb. This popular freshwater barb is known for its attractive rosy-red body, golden sheen and energetic schooling behaviour.

Rosy Barbs are hardy fish that adapt well to a range of aquarium conditions. They are active swimmers and are best kept in groups, where they feel more secure and display their natural behaviour. Their peaceful nature makes them suitable for many community aquariums, although they can occasionally become fin nippers if kept in too small a group or with slow-moving, long-finned fish.
