Rotala Macrandra TC - IC010

Rotala Macrandra is commonly used in aquarium décor plants and is very popular in the aquarium trade for its lovely colors.

It’s known as the Giant Red Rotala since it might grow up to twelve inches tall and has a rich red color to its leaves.

The plant is native to India and thrives in wetland environments.

Rotala Macrandra comes in several vibrant colors.

It requires a lot of light to create its gorgeous red hues, much as CO₂ and soft water are required for maximum growth.

Cut the longest stems and replant them in the bunch.

Care tips

• CO₂ levels of 15-25ppm are ideal for Rotala Macrandra growth. Water that is soft and acidic is recommended.
• After a period of acclimatization, it performs effectively even in aquariums without carbon dioxide injection.
