Pilea Microphila

Pilea microphylla, commonly known as Artillery Plant or Gunpowder Plant, is a small, evergreen perennial native to tropical and subtropical regions. It is well-known for its tiny, round, light-green leaves and its ability to grow quickly, forming dense mats.

Typically grows up to 12 inches (30 cm) tall and spreads widely.

The name "Artillery Plant" comes from the way its flowers explosively release pollen when they burst open.
