Sunrise molly

Sunrise Mollies are known for their vibrant orange, gold, and yellow coloration resembling a sunrise. Males are generally more colorful and have a pointed anal fin (gonopodium), while females are larger and rounder.

Water Requirements

• Temperature: 24–28°C
• pH: 7.0–8.2
• Hard to moderately hard water
• Tank size: Minimum 20 gallons (75 liters) for a group

Diet

They are omnivores and will eat:

• High-quality flakes or pellets
• Algae wafers
• Blanched vegetables (spinach, zucchini)
• Frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp and bloodworms

Breeding

Like other mollies, Sunrise Mollies are livebearers, meaning they give birth to free-swimming fry rather than laying eggs. A female can produce 20–100 fry every 4–6 weeks.
