Description
DaVinci Ocellaris Clownfish was bred with our jet-Black Ocellaris Clownfish to produce this designer clownfish.
The MochaVinci Clownfish inherited the DaVinci Clownfish's classic swirly white pattern, but the red coloration had been replaced by a more golden and black coloration similar to that of the Black Ice Clownfish and Maine Mocha Clownfish.
The MochaVinci Clownfish was a promising first step towards creating an all-black-and-white DaVinci Clownfish, and our intention was to keep the DaVinci Clownfish's classic swirly pattern. One of the MochaVinci offspring stood out from the rest, and it became clear that this was a one-in-a-million mutation (see image below).

Ocellaris Black designer clownfish flaunts beautiful pearlescent, stunning black markings, deep black eyes, and black-tipped fins.
This is a very popular fish among Clownfish. They get along with all kinds of clownfish in an aquarium.
It takes pride in being the first marine fish to be bred in captivity. They are very peaceful fish and do extremely well in well-kept tanks. ‘They do not need anemones t0 survive but will accept many different Anemones like corals.
They simply love the Carpet Anemones Stichodactyla Gigantea or the Magnificent Anemone Heteractis Magnifica.
They have a very different and nice swimming motion that does not match any other fish.

Territorial, quiet within their territory, and peaceful.

Clownfish are omnivorous and mostly eat small zooplankton from the water column, such as copepods and tunicate larvae.
